On March 25, 2015, the founding conference for the Technical Innovation Strategic Alliance for Passive House and Low Energy Building Industry was held at the National Convention Center in Beijing and the first working meeting was also convened. Led by the Center for Housing Industrialization Promotion of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Alliance was jointly launched by 54 domestic and overseas enterprises and organizations from Passive House construction industry.  
The first Council of the Alliance consists of organization members including the Center for Housing Industrialization Promotion of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, development enterprises, construction companies, components manufacturers, architectural design firms, scientific research institutes, and other relevant organizations.
